The ALSFRS-R scale is a validated questionnaire-based instrument for evaluating a patient’s physical function in performing activities of daily living (ADLs).1 Today, the ALSFRS-R scale is a widely used test in clinical trials to monitor ALS and is considered the gold standard measure for tracking disability progression.2,3
